There are DJ’s that play music, there are DJ’s that perform, and then there is Talla 2XLC. From the moment he enters the stage, the epic sounds of Talla, combined with his masterful technique of building a journey, is second to none.
Whether at the club or making an appearance at some of the biggest dance festivals and venues around the globe, Talla has the ability to grab the crowd, and take them to a whole other dimension with his unique style of soundz, featuring soaring vocals, taking elements of cutting edge electronic with spine-tingling breakdowns and euphoric melodies.
He is a living legend, and often described as the man who invented “Techno”.
For 2010, Talla is more active than ever, producing big choons. For example a rerelease of his uplifting smasher “shine” and a new progressive vocal track with one of uk´s leading female singer “audrey gallagher”. He is leading two successful recordlabels, with tunes hammered by tiesto, armin van buuren, paul van dyk and dozens more of the global keyplayers. His own compositions are always hitting all major online charts.
And he just got crowned by germanys raveline readers (raveline is the german counterpart of uk´s djmag, just bigger and selling more than 80.000 copies monthly) for his tremendous work in 2009. (look below).
1. ACTUAL RELEASES:
Talla 2XLC teams up with German trance duo Skysurfer, and the outcome is a massive, melodic EDM anthem of epic proportions!Together they created a musical masterpiece, a combination of melodies & harmonies which have not been delivered for some time now. This is what dance music is about, when the music touches your soul and creates goosebumps all over your body, then you can truly feel the music. On top of that, famous trance producer Jorn van Deynhoven has also added his own unbelievable extras with his remix of “Terra Australis”.
With “Terra Australis”, Talla 2XLC proves once again that he is one of the leading artists in his genre, and that he delivers big emotional songs:
